The 2026 edition of the Spezia Summer Camp got underway this morning at the Bruno Ferdeghini Training Centre, as the club’s eagerly anticipated summer event returned with a brand-new edition and plenty of excitement.
The stars of the day were the many boys and girls born between 2013 and 2019, who kicked off the summer’s flagship event wearing their official Spezia Calcio kits before taking to the synthetic pitches at the club’s Via Melara training ground to enjoy the game they love.
Divided into age groups, participants were given the opportunity to experience the world of Spezia Calcio up close through games, training sessions, and unique activities, all centred around football, fun, and plenty of smiles.
The first week of camp had already sold out several days in advance, with a record 90 registrations, further confirming the Spezia Summer Camp as one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer in La Spezia. Following a welcome speech and the traditional group photos, the young athletes immediately got to work on the pitch with a morning session focused on individual technique before enjoying a well-earned lunch break and a range of recreational activities in the afternoon.
Among the highlights of this year's edition are an inflatable human foosball pitch and guided visits to the Alberto Picco Stadium, giving the young Eagles the chance to discover the home of Spezia Calcio, learn about its rich history, and explore every corner of the renovated venue on Viale Fieschi.
The curtain therefore falls on a fantastic opening day of the 2026 Spezia Summer Camp, which once again proved a huge success among all participants, delivering a day full of fun, passion, and black-and-white pride.
