On the occasion of November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Spezia Calcio has decided to take the field alongside those who fight every day against this phenomenon, choosing to collaborate concretely with Differenza Donna, NGO that operates nationally and internationally against male violence against women, as well as management center of 1522, National toll-free number Anti Violence and Stalking.
Spezia Calcio, aware of how the Serie A stage can become a means of practical action to address sensitive issues at the social level, has decided to develop an initiative to raise awareness to position itself clearly in favor of women and against all types of gender violence. This is how the #WeForShe campaign was born, a claim chosen to underline that it is the strength of the group that makes the difference and shown on the uniforms of Thiago Motta's men on the occasion of Spezia-Bologna, the match valid for the 14th round of Serie A and staged on 28 November on the grass of the "Picco" stadium.
Now, these unique pieces will be auctioned on the platform "Charity Stars" in 4 different slots and the entire proceeds will be donated to Differenza Donna.
The first slot, which saw the auction of match-worn shirts of Giulio Maggiore, Martin Erlic, Eddie Salcedo, Jeroen Zoet, and Ebrima Colley, was a great success among fans, raising a sum of €1,460.
From Thursday, December, 9th, the second slot of the match-worn jerseys of the Eagles Salva Ferrer, Janis Antiste, Simone Bastoni, Rey Manaj, and Dimitrios Nikolaou is available.
