"I waited a few days before issuing statements because I think it was right to leave space for the words of the protagonists of the fantastic comeback in the league, culminating with the exciting victory against Venezia, which allowed us to celebrate the goal we had set for ourselves in January, after a start that was certainly difficult and not in line with everyone's expectations.
I want to thank every single player for always giving their all, never giving up, even when the road seemed an insurmountable climb, showing seriousness and spirit of sacrifice until the last moment.
A big thank you goes to coach Luca D'Angelo and his tireless staff for believing from day one in the possibility of turning the fortunes of the season around, conveying confidence, awareness and determination to everyone.
I would also like to thank all the management and all the staff who, each for their own task, have been able to make a fundamental contribution to our cause.
Finally, a special thanks goes to all our fans, who showed all of us how to turn disappointment and suffering into strength, never leaving the team alone and supporting it in an incredible way until the very end, when the "Picco" once again lived up to its reputation, pushing our Eagles to victory.
Now it is time to analyze the championship that has just ended, take stock and start preparing carefully and seriously for the next season, starting again from the incredible atmosphere of last Friday, when the Picco and its people wrote a new page in the glorious book of the history of Spezia Calcio.
