Speaking from the training camp in South Tyrol, Szymon Zurkowski shared his thoughts after returning to action with the team: “I’m coming back from an injury, but I’m feeling good now and training with the whole group with calm and focus.
It feels great to know the coach and my teammates believe in me, that gives me an extra push to perform well and work with a clear head, always trying to give a little more each day.
I’ve learned a lot from my two injuries. Now I’m here, mentally free, and we’ll see what the future holds, but with this group, I truly believe good things are ahead.
The coach wants us to play aggressive, high-pressure football, and that’s a style I really enjoy. We’re working every day to implement what he asks of us and to do it the best we can.
Serie B? It’s a tough league. I watched a few games last season and thought Spezia had a real shot at promotion, that just means this year we’ll need to work even harder to stay competitive.
Of course I want to score goals for this team, like everyone else, but what matters most is bringing home three points. That’s the goal we all share, no matter who gets on the scoresheet.
The new signings? They’re putting in the work, and they’ve all made a strong impression on me. It wouldn’t be right to single anyone out".
