Despite the vacations, I couldn't think about anything other than the last game in Reggio Emilia, but now we are back to work, we have to focus on the future, think about the season ahead, because unfortunately we can't do anything to change our past.
I like to be a reference point for my teammates, but I want to contribute not only in the locker room, so every day I try to train hard so I can play my chance
For me it is very important to be close to the young people, I have been in their shoes and having someone who can advise them at the right time is something that can be really important for their career and for the whole team.
I think for a footballer the psychological aspect is fundamental, because to play at certain levels you have to have the strength and the calmness to go through various situations, whether they are good or complicated, and this I think applies even more to a goalkeeper.
Mister Alvini has very clear ideas for the season ahead of us, he wants to win and play proactive soccer and this is a really important starting point; he asks us goalkeepers to stand tall, keep the team short, know how to communicate and always be ready and focused in any circumstance.
With Lorieri and Battara there is a very good relationship, we always work hard, carrying out both dedicated work between goalkeepers and collective work, and in recent days we have also begun to put into practice the requests of coach Alvini, starting right away to get used to his idea of soccer.
What does Spezia need? We know that to reach our goal we will have to try to win against everyone. It is clear that it will be very difficult, but to compete at the top, the mental aspect and knowing how to create a collective winning mentality will be fundamental.
