The via Melara club announces that it has acquired Polish defender Przemysław Wiśniewski outright from Venezia FC, who has signed a contract expiring June 30, 2027.
Born in 1998, Wiśniewski grew up in his hometown team, Gornik Zabrze, a militant in the top Polish league, where over the years he has collected as many as 136 appearances and also scored four goals. During the last market window, the move to Laguna, where he immediately became the backbone of the Veneto rearguard, playing as a protagonist throughout the first half of the season and attracting the attentions of numerous clubs thanks to his imposing physicality combined with an excellent reading of situations and effective progression.
A 195-centimeter central defender, Wiśniewski has also been in the orbit of the Polish national team for years, with whom he made his debut in the Under-19 formation and then made it all the way to the Under-21 selection. At the age of 24, the footballer is thus ready for the leap to Serie A, to contribute to the Eagles' cause wearing jersey number 55.
