Spezia Calcio announces that it has acquired the sporting services of goalkeeper Leonardo Loria on a temporary basis with an option to buy from Pisa Sporting Club.
Born in 1999, a native of Erice and a product of the Juventus youth academy, he made his professional debut in April 2019 in a match against Olbia while wearing the Bianconeri Next Gen jersey. The following season, he became the first-choice goalkeeper for Juventus Next Gen, reaching the Serie C playoff quarter-finals, while the following year he moved to Pisa, where he met coach D'Angelo for the first time. The 21/22 season saw him back in the starting line-up, this time defending Monopoli's goal in Serie C, where he had an excellent season, which led him to Frosinone the following year, with whom he achieved promotion to the top flight. After returning to Pisa in the 23/24 season, where he played seven times, last season he achieved the second promotion to Serie A of his career, with the Tuscan team.
An experienced and reliable goalkeeper, Loria is ready to put his skills at the service of the Eagles and coach Luca D'Angelo, wearing the number 16 jersey!
Welcome, Leonardo!
