Spezia Calcio announces that it has acquired the sporting services of Boris Radunović on a temporary deal from Cagliari Calcio.
Born in 1996 and a native of Belgrade, the Serbian goalkeeper was unquestionably one of the standout goalkeepers in last season’s Serie B. While guarding Bari’s goal, he kept 13 clean sheets in 37 appearances. Radunović brings with him extensive experience in Italian football. After first making his mark in Serbia with FK Rad Belgrade, he moved to Italy with Atalanta, making his Serie A debut on the final matchday of the 2015–16 season in Atalanta’s away win over Genoa.
In the following seasons, Radunović moved to Campania, establishing himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at both Avellino and Salernitana, before joining Cremonese in the 2018–19 season. He then returned to Serie A the following year with Verona. After another season at Atalanta, he made the move to Sardinia, where, in his second season with Cagliari, he became the club’s starting goalkeeper and played a key role in the Rossoblù’s return to the top flight. He went on to make seven Serie A appearances in the 2023–24 season, before joining Bari last season.
A goalkeeper with great physical presence and experience, Radunović is now ready to put himself at the disposal of Head Coach Donadoni, wearing the number 22 shirt.
Welcome, Boris!
