This morning, a delegation of First Team players consisting of Salvatore Esposito, Gabriele Artistico, Pietro Beruatto, and Andrea Cistana visited the Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Obstetrics wards of the Sant'Andrea Hospital in La Spezia for the now traditional Christmas visit to young patients, bringing them smiles as well as lots of gifts and gadgets signed by Spezia Calcio.
Amidst photos, autographs, and smiles, the Aquilotti Santas were accompanied on their special visit by the tireless members of the ward's healthcare staff, who continue to care for the young patients even during the Christmas period. It was a small but significant gesture aimed at bringing a moment of serenity to the young patients and their families, as well as to new parents, with the hope that they would soon be able to return home to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holidays with their loved ones.
Spezia Calcio would like to thank Dr. Maria Franca Corona, head of the Pediatrics and Neonatology Department at Sant'Andrea Hospital, all the hospital's healthcare staff, and the healthcare management for their availability and hospitality.
