The joint training session between coach D’Angelo’s team and the Primavera, led by former captain Claudio Terzi, wrapped up with five goals at the “Alberto Picco” stadium.
In the first 30-minute half, Di Serio opened the scoring, pouncing on a loose ball in the heart of the box and beating Mascardi with an unstoppable diagonal strike. In the 12th minute, Candelari weaved his way through the area, but his shot was blocked by Mascardi, only for Aurelio to react quickest and slot home the rebound, doubling the lead ahead of Terzi’s defense. In the remaining 15 minutes, Candelari and Aurelio came close again, as did Čolak and Kouda, but Mascardi remained sharp between the posts.
The second half, extended to 35 minutes, saw an immediate goal from Čolak, who slotted past Leonardo from close range after a well-placed cross from Giuseppe Aurelio on the left. In the 16th minute, Falcinelli made it 4-0 with a clever futsal-style finish from a tight angle after driving into the box from the left. The fifth and final goal came from Kouda, who made the most of a Falcinelli assist, opening up his left foot and curling his shot inside the far post after cutting in from the right.
The team has a rest day scheduled for tomorrow before resuming training on Sunday morning.
