Spezia and Segnoverde at Terre di Luni: together to celebrate a thirteen-year partnership

An evening of conviviality and belonging last night, in the beautiful setting of Terre di Luni, where Segnoverde, Main Sponsor and longtime partner of Spezia Calcio, welcomed the Aquile first team together with its employees and their children.

The event celebrated a bond that has now reached its thirteenth consecutive season: a shared journey that has gone through important chapters in the Club's recent history and confirms Segnoverde as a point of reference for Spezia, both on and off the pitch.

The evening opened in a festive atmosphere, with the players happily offering smiles, chats, photos and autographs, amid the excitement of the youngest guests and the curiosity of the adults. It was an opportunity to experience the team up close and to share, away from the pitch, the values that unite the two organisations.

The first to speak was Segnoverde's President, Eng. Aldo Sammartano: "Once again, we are here to celebrate this partnership of more than a decade, which makes us proud. The more than 6,000 season ticket holders and the enthusiasm felt around the city, after last year's sad sporting outcome, are something incredible, and for that we must thank Director Angelozzi, who has been the cornerstone of the positive changes that have involved Spezia over these two months. The Aquile earned a truly hard-fought victory in Pescara, and they did it with several very young players on the pitch, carrying forward values that Segnoverde also shares. The road is still long, but I am sure that together we can achieve great things."

Spezia Calcio's Chief Executive Officer, Nicolò Peri, then spoke: "First of all, I bring the greetings and thanks of Owner Tom Roberts and President Charlie Stillitano, who would have liked to be with us this evening to celebrate this important partnership. It is wonderful to be together here at Terre di Luni, with Segnoverde accompanying us for over a decade with great involvement and enthusiasm. I can only thank the Segnoverde team from the bottom of my heart for always being by our side and for hosting us once again in this wonderful location."

Finally, the floor went to Director Guido Angelozzi: "At the beginning of July, the situation was not good. There was a huge amount of work to do in many respects, and I myself still had to get fully involved in many matters. The meeting with Segnoverde's management, which took place right here at Terre di Luni, struck me deeply: I saw their great interest, their enthusiasm, their determination, and all of this turned into an incredible energy to start again, as I had rarely felt in my life. On that occasion I promised that we would come back here with the whole team, and keeping my word is fundamental to me, always. This partnership, which has lasted for as many as thirteen seasons, is nothing short of remarkable in the world of football. I can only thank Segnoverde's leadership and the employees who are here this evening with their children, who once again made us feel at home and made us understand how solid and important this relationship is, for Segnoverde as much as for Spezia."

The spotlight then turned to the real stars of the evening, the children, who put their questions to head coach Marco Turati: amid curiosities, anecdotes and plenty of laughter, the Aquile coach opened up with simplicity, offering the guests one of the most genuine moments of the event.

To close, there was a group photo with the team, staff, employees and their children, and a Spezia mini ball for every child present, a keepsake of an evening to treasure.

Spezia Calcio thanks Segnoverde for the warm hospitality and for the closeness it continues to show the Club season after season, and Terre di Luni for providing an ideal setting for an evening of celebration and sharing.
