An exciting new event organized by "Schools at Picco" took place this morning at the Aquilotto stadium, featuring classes 2B and 2C from the Don Antonio Mori primary school, who enjoyed a 360° adventure inside the home of the Aquile, learning about history and tradition while having lots of fun.
The project, which sees the Club di Via Melara open the doors of its stadium to young students, is based on the desire to educate the younger generation by promoting a positive culture of sport, highlighting values such as passion, loyalty, respect, fun, and teamwork.
Through a journey of discovery into the world of the Eagles, various topics related to the past and present of Spezia Calcio are touched upon, including testimonies from the historic La Spezia speaker Federico La Valle, touching on the history of football fandom on the shores of the Gulf of Poets, with its characters and anecdotes, characterized by the great pride of being alongside their city's team every day.
An iconic moment of “Scuole al Picco” was the big themed quiz with numerous prizes branded by Spezia Calcio and Kariba, partners of the project, which filled the young protagonists of the morning at Picco with joy. The event then ended on the pitch, despite the light rain, with the highlight par excellence: penalty kicks under the Curva Ferrovia, to experience the excitement of the pitch like real footballers.
