Two assists in the derby, just shy of 100 appearances in white. After the match at the Picco, Arkadiusz Reca spoke to the press: “We knew exactly what kind of game to expect, but we also knew we’d have a sold-out Picco behind us, pushing us all the way. We wanted to give everything we had to get this win, and we’re really happy with our performance and the three points. Now, we have to focus on the next matches and do our best to pick up as many points as possible.
I’ve been through some tough seasons, dealing with multiple injuries, but right now, I feel good both physically and mentally. I hope it stays this way until the end of the season so I can keep helping my teammates in every battle.
I’m happy with the two assists, and I’m especially happy for my friend Wisniewski, who was unlucky on Pisa’s opening goal but then got his redemption. I’m still waiting for my first goal of the season, but if I keep playing like this, I know it’ll come soon.
When we went behind, we did everything we could to get the equalizer. And once we made it 2-2, the Picco completely erupted, it was on fire. When our stadium is like that, it’s intimidating for any opponent and gives us an incredible boost. Hopefully, we’ll see it like this until the end of the season because today, our fans won this game too.
The performance today was unbelievable. We never gave up, we fed off the energy from our supporters, and we fought together. Now, we have to keep pushing until the very end".
