Ferdeghini - A 1-1 draw at the “Ferdeghini” Sports Center between Coach Lupoli’s Aquile and Sampdoria, in the Aquile Primavera’s second match of the season. Spezia got off to a strong start, breaking the deadlock just a few minutes in through Longhi, thanks to a fine ball recovery in the opponent’s attacking third that set up a one-on-one situation for Longhi against the opposing goalkeeper. Just a few minutes later, the Blucerchiati equalized with an excellent ground-based counterattack, capped off by Greco beating Doretti to level the score. In the second half, both sides made substitutions; the pace slowed slightly due to the intense heat, but it was still a balanced half, with two chances for each side going unconverted. Thus, the second friendly of the year for Coach Lupoli’s team ended in a draw—a good test match against Sampdoria’s team in the same age group, helping them continue to prepare as best as possible for the start of the season.
