First session of the week for the Eagles of coach Luca D'Angelo, who this afternoon on the grounds of the ‘Comunale’ began to prepare for the challenge scheduled for Sunday afternoon against Catanzaro.
First time to the "Comunale" for the new Vice-President and Founder of FC32, Paul Francis, on his first official visit to the shores of the Golfo dei Poeti, after the acquisition of the Club on 7 February, accompanied by the CEO, Andrea Gazzoli, the new Board Member Federico Mari and the Sporting Director Stefano Melissano.
After talking at length with coach D'Angelo and getting to know the technical staff at the Follo facilities, there was time to greet the team, before the start of the training session, observed with attention and participation by the Australian Vice-President, who left the ‘Comunale’ sporting centre at the end of it to go to the headquarters in via Melara, where he had the chance to meet the Club's employees for the first time.
Introduced by CEO Andrea Gazzoli, the Aquilotto Vice-President wanted to greet the team working behind the scenes of the Club in this way: "Being here today is a great emotion for me - Paul Francis’ words to the Aquilotti employees - The past three weeks have been very intense, but now I am finally here with you and I am really happy about it.
This club is having a fantastic season and the credit goes to everyone involved, so I can only tell you to continue on the path you have taken and I will try to help you where it is necessary, but I have no intention of affecting this magical atmosphere in any way.
Twelve games await us, there is the chance to write an important chapter in the history of this club, so I can only tell you to keep going and thank you for what you have done and are doing for the good of Spezia".
