President Charlie Stillitano, accompanied by Director of the Technical Area Guido Angelozzi, Sporting Director Gianluca Longo and Primavera Coordinator Mattia Biso, met the Primavera and Under 17 squads this afternoon on the pitch at the “Ferdeghini,” personally greeting the players and staff. The visit then continued with a meeting with all the technical staff of the Youth Sector.
“You are our future,” the President said. “Tom Roberts and I believe this is our real treasure, the most important thing we have here. I want to get to know you more and more: we want you to understand that the future is here. We thank you, and we want you to feel at home and be able to continue your journey here. We have a management staff led by a great Director, and we have great faith in you and in everyone who works here.”
Director Angelozzi struck a similar note: “The boys must first and foremost think about studying and growing as men, and then about training. This year we already have examples like Doretti and Cassano, who have been training with the first team for some time, which shows how much this club trusts its young players.”
The visit renews the Club’s commitment to its youth academy, which is called upon to carry forward the values and identity of the Aquilotti. Because the future of Spezia starts, first and foremost, from here.
