Yesterday afternoon was a celebration at the Picco, which opened its gates to its supporters for “Porte aperte al Picco,” a guided stadium tour. Young and old alike were able to experience the ground from a different perspective, getting up close to a place that has treasured the emotions of the white shirts for generations.
Through anecdotes, stories and souvenir photos, participants made their way through the Picco step by step, from the press box to the walk-out onto the pitch, with a special focus on the new historical trail, inaugurated in recent days, which brought back to life some of the most significant moments in the Club’s history. It was a route that combined history and passion, turning a simple visit into a journey through Aquilotti memory.
President Charlie Stillitano also made a surprise appearance, wanting to play host by welcoming the fans and accompanying them through parts of the tour, sharing anecdotes and thanking the people of La Spezia for the incredible passion that sets them apart.
