From SPAL comes on loan with a buy-back obligation the talented midfielder Salvatore Esposito, who will wear the number 25 jersey.
Young, but with clear ideas and the personality of a veteran shown from the very first steps of his career, the former SPAL captain grew up in the youth ranks of Inter, before experiences in Serie C with Ravenna and in Serie B with Chievo Verona, a formation with which in the 2019-2020 season he took the field on 39 occasions, going so far as to challenge with the Gialloblù precisely the Eagles in the playoff semifinals. In the following season, SPAL decided to bet on the midfielder from Castellammare di Stabia, and in Ferrara, Esposito came to total 83 appearances, also scoring ten goals and highlighting himself as one of the brightest talents on the Italian scene.
Born in 2000, after wearing the jerseys of Italy U16, U19, U20 and U21, Esposito can already boast his debut in the senior national team, which took place on June 11, 2022 at home to England, in the match valid for the group stage of the Uefa Nations League and ended in a scoreless draw.
A midfielder with excellent technique and a great ability in the interdiction phase, Esposito is now ready to contribute to the Eagles' cause.
Welcome Salvatore!
