Following the overhaul of the VRO system (verification of eligibility requirements) for ticketing, as required by industry regulations, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that, starting with the matches of the next round (September 19–21), ticket sales will cease at the start of the match, similar to the previous system, with the difference that the new version will not allow tickets to be issued under any circumstances after that time.
In light of the above, for Spezia’s home matches, the ticket office at the “Alberto Picco” Stadium will close fifteen minutes before kickoff, in order to allow queues to clear and avoid unpleasant misunderstandings, as ticket office staff will under no circumstances be able to issue tickets once the match starts, not even for people who are already in line.
In this regard, given the updated national ticketing system, the Club urges Aquilotti fans to purchase their tickets, whenever possible, well in advance or even on game day—but several hours before kickoff, not within the hour preceding the start of the match.
Furthermore, in addition to verifying residency and ensuring technical compatibility with the tax ID number, the new system includes cross-checking personal data from the Police Database with the national registry to prevent the issuance of tickets using altered information.
