The last challenge saw striker David Strelec on the pitch for the first 63' in the match between Malta U21 and Slovakia that ended 1-3.
In addition to the Eagles taking the field, Martin Erlic was also involved with Croatia in the match that saw it lose 0-3 to Austria, with the defender on the bench for the duration of the match.
Youngster Birgir Styrmisson was also on the bench after his friendly match as a starter; for his Iceland U19 team yet another defeat by Ireland's age group peers.
Ebrima Colley's Gambia beat South Sudan 1-0 in their African Nations Cup qualifying match, with the Eagle number 19 remaining in the stands.
