After the win against Livorno, the words of Kaleb Jimenez, scorer of the temporary 1-1: “We are obviously happy about the win, which came after a reaction worthy of a great team and which gives value to the whole group, which is united and hungry. Nobody ever holds back, and today’s match is worth a lot also because we know how much it means to our fans, as well as the fact that there were many players on the pitch who had found less space until today.
Today the coach tried me a bit as a false nine. I didn’t manage to play there for long because unfortunately Limonelli’s injury came, but even though I had never tried it before, I was convincing myself that I could do it well, also because with a coach like Turati each of us feels able to do anything.
The lads never hold back during the week, and every one of them is well aware of what it means to wear the white shirt. The draw against Latina left a bit of a bitter taste in our mouths, but now we have to move forward because a new battle awaits us on Sunday.
Di Serio? I’m really happy. He is a humble, special and experienced lad, who never holds back in training and who can help us a lot; it’s a privilege to have him with us and we are really happy that he scored the winning goal today: we are a team and we are united, in the negative moments as in the positive ones.”
