A new formative meeting was staged today, with the Aquilotto Youth Sector having the pleasure of hosting, at its facilities, students of Motor Sciences from the San Raffaele Telematic University of Rome.
A day discovering the world of Spezia Calcio's Youth Sector, through which the students were able to learn about what are the philosophy of thought and methodological approach that characterize the youth of the Club of via Melara. All aligned on the importance of the value of the relationship - between technical staff and players - understood as a fundamental pedagogical basis to be able to build a true and authentic relationship with the boy, a necessary starting point to facilitate the individual growth of the athlete, both from a technical and a tactical point of view.
The meeting was led by the Technical Manager of the Youth Sector Stefano Ghisleni, who after showing the students the key-spaces of the "Bruno Ferdeghini" sports center - from the gymnasium, to the cafeteria, to the study rooms and the different playing fields - dwelt on the importance of being able to count on a centralized sports center. To ensure the proximity of every need that the young athlete needs, who will see gathered in a single center all the spaces that are fundamental to his or her training.
In the second part of the meeting, the various members of the youth technical staff also took the floor: coaches, athletic trainers, match analysts and technical assistants, who told the students about their typical weeks, with a breakdown of weekly work on the field between building activities, developmental activities, finishing and finalization. In order to be able to cultivate what is the ultimate goal, the growth of the boy, which can only be made possible by passing through the human relationship, an essential central value for a Youth Sector that aspires to make its athletes emerge.
In the afternoon, the students then had the opportunity to closely follow the training sessions of the Primavera, Under-17, Under-16 and Under-15 teams, alongside members of the technical staff, so they could apply on the field the theoretical guidelines learned during the meeting.
