President Charlie Stillitano is pleased to announce that Guido Angelozzi will assume the role of Sporting Director from 1 July 2026. Angelozzi has signed a three-year contract, running until 30 June 2029.
For Angelozzi, this marks a return to the Gulf of Poets, where he previously wrote some of the most significant chapters in the Club’s history, culminating in the historic promotion to Serie A at the end of the 2019/20 season, an achievement that the Picco faithful have never forgotten and one that clearly bears his signature. He joins Spezia following a season at Cagliari, where the experienced Sicilian executive played a key role in securing the Club’s Serie A status.
Joining him in white once again is Gianluca Longo, who was also a key figure in the Club’s 2020 promotion campaign and will serve as Sporting Department Collaborator. Completing the new structure is Francesco Ridolfo, who arrives as Sporting Secretary after a successful season with Frosinone. Both Longo and Ridolfo have signed contracts running until 30 June 2029.
