Fresh off this morning’s tactical session at the “Lunezia” field—which officially wrapped up the summer training camp in Pontremoli—the Eagles held a joint training session in the afternoon with the Primavera team led by Coach Lupoli at the “Comunale” field in Follo.
The first team scored eight goals, with Mazzocchi opening the scoring with a brace—first with a diagonal shot from the edge of the box and then with a winning deflection from close range off a short save by the opposing goalkeeper. The third goal came from Florenzi, who, on a cross from Cazzadori on the right, timed his run perfectly to the far post and headed the ball into the net. Bandinelli also scored twice, with two precise shots from distance. Adamo and Joselito also found the net, both with powerful strikes from the edge of the box, as did Fontanarosa, who capitalized with a header off a cross from Adamo. For the Primavera team, the goals were scored by D’Ambrosio and Trentinella. Also worth noting were shots off the woodwork by Cannavò, Mazzocchi, and Bandinelli, as well as a penalty kick by Fontanarosa that was saved by Azzoni.
Coach Turati’s squad will now take two days off before reconvening Tuesday afternoon at the “Comunale” stadium in Follo to resume preparations for the 2026–2027 season.
