On the eve of the match against Catanzaro, coach Luca D'Angelo spoke to the press: "We didn't play well in the first round and the result was a consequence of that, so we've been working hard over the last few days to try and put in a much better performance tomorrow. We want to play the kind of game we're capable of, regardless of who's missing, and give it everything we've got.
Last season, we were all fit and had a full squad from the first days of training camp, but this year we've had to deal with several problems and have had more difficulties. However, we must remain calm, focus on getting the injured players back, and I believe that with a full squad, we can cause problems for any team.
We're losing Kouda to suspension but getting Vlahovic back, and otherwise we'll continue with our style of play.
Beruatto? He will definitely be in the squad, and I am very pleased with his signing because he is a player who can give us a lot, both technically and in terms of character.
Technical errors against Carrarese? There were certainly mistakes that determined the result, but I must say that in the second half, despite being a man down, the team reacted with character.
Zurkowski? He'll be in the squad tomorrow. The club has always been very clear with me, saying from the outset that no player is indispensable. Obviously, if he stays and is fit, he can help us.
The choices regarding the wingers are fairly obvious for the match ahead, but I'm sure they'll play well. I've seen them play very well this week.
Catanzaro are a technical side and it won't be an easy game, but our team is used to facing difficult matches because they're all like that in Serie B. We'll have to try to bring our main strengths to bear, defend well and show the desire to score that is essential for finding the net".
