From the Eagles' training camp in Val Gardena, word from Slovenian class 2003 Tio Cipot, who after his first experience in the white jersey gained in the second half of last year, is ready to test himself in the cadet championship: "My adaptation in Italy? On a personal level, the first months in Italy were positive, also because I was used to watching Italian soccer and I already knew the local culture, moreover I think my young age also allowed me to adapt quickly.
My favorite role? I feel at home as a left winger, but I can also range behind the forwards.
I believe that any footballer dreams of getting to play with the jersey of his country's senior national team, and personally that is what I would like to do, but for now I am focused on trying to carve out space for myself in Spezia and defending the colors of Slovenia with the Under-21 selection: it is through my performance that I can convince the coach to call me up.
I got to know Mister Alvini only a few days ago, but I immediately understood that he is a decent person and a passionate coach and I am convinced that under his guidance we will be able to achieve an important goal, also because the team is strong and has a lot of quality.
With whom have I bonded the most? I think it is normal to have found an instant bond with those footballers who come from the same part of Europe as me, such as Zovko, who speaks the same language as me being Bosnian, but for example also Kovalenko, who now no longer plays with us, but with whom a good friendship was established last year; in general, however, I am a guy who likes to socialize and get along with everyone.
This year will not be an easy season and to achieve our goal, we will have to try to play with courage and personality, because I am convinced that this team is capable of great feats.
My personal goal? I want to earn as much space as possible on the field, but honestly the main goal is to bring Spezia back to Serie A, because that is the category that belongs to us".
