The coach asks the wingers to stay high up the field and to try to beat their opponents one-on-one—tasks I really enjoy and that come naturally to me—so I hope to be able to contribute to the team: I’ll give it my all every time.
My physical condition? I knew that the upcoming season would be a very important one for my career, so I’ve always trained hard—even on my days off and even before training camp with Pisa. I feel great and want to keep it up.
I prefer to play on the right; since I’m left-footed, I like to cut inside and take a shot, but I can also play on the left: I’m fully at the disposal of the coach and my teammates.
I’m an attacking player, but since I arrived in Italy, I’ve always played as a fifth man or, on a couple of occasions, as a second striker, even though I definitely really enjoy playing in an advanced position.
I’ve found a young group that welcomed me very warmly right from the start; we’re facing a very tough Serie C season where nothing is a given, and even the less-heralded teams can spring nasty surprises, so we’ll need to stay fully focused at all times.
