We took a goal on a rebound from a firm ball, the same one taken against Como, although tonight the performance was totally different. It's a pity because two minutes earlier we had a sensational chance, but I repeat that the team's performance was important, from all points of view.
The team did well, playing a very good game, there was only one part of the first half, the final 10 minutes, in which we went too low, but still overall the team was always inside the game.
We had to give an important signal, in terms of attitude and spirit, and this was there, what was lacking was the result, which, however, is the most important aspect. In these first four games we deserved more, that's for sure, and we collected much less than we could have and deserved, but the team is alive and we will get back up.
Spezia must continue on this path, because we have seen a reaction. It is logical that there is a need to reverse the trend in results, but if the performance is like this I am sure the team will take its path. A team that is struggling does not make such a performance in Venice, so let's keep our heads down and think about working".
